I fixed it!

I removed the little cap sleeve.

Shortened the dress a bit and added some large colourful fabric circles.

A colourful brooch to finish the dress off.

Looks much better now.

And those felted jumpers have been made into flowers to wear.

A beautiful setting for Sue's SALA exhibition.

It was late in the afternoon when I finally got the chance to take a couple of photos.

Although this piece of sculpture is a prop and not part of the exhibition, I love it.

It's been all about wool this week, warm and colourful.

Crocheting round and round while cycling through France.

Remembering how to knit and with some help from Christina I have almost finished 2 ear warmers.

This weeks travels I've noticed sunrise,

I seem to be obsessed with gardens and plants this week, perhaps it's because mine isn't looking as good or as happy as it could be and I would like to spend more time out there.

Finally the dress is finished.

It needed something.

After fishing through my pile of buttons and sorting out the red ones, cos they faster!

I added a tab at either side and a pocket, love a pocket!

One large top purchased from the oppie, intereseting  fabric.

With the help of a Piece of Cake and a cup of tea, and a Tshirt I created this frock.

I think it needs a colour detailing, prehaps around the neckline.

A little pleat detail on the hem, yep good idea until I had to take up the hem.

It's getting colder and darker.

Blue sky seems a thing of the past.

The leaves are changing colour and falling.

There are rainbows around and a dampness in the air.

The farmers are starting to sow their crops.

The snails are coming out to play.

Well for a while now I have been collecting, sorting and patting my buttons, I know what I want to make from them but actually getting around to doing this is another matter.

I have a market to attend in a weeks time and as yet I really having nothing to put on my table.

One rose found in the garden.

Lantana is a weed in every other state in Australia.

Our soil is poor in this area but the Lantana survives in all the gardens around here.

This has been a week of internet connection woes, apparently bigger "towers" needed to be installed which affected everyone even if you weren't with that company! 

Anyway back to JaM,  my announcement and adventure;

I'm off to the the Kooky Kidz Market in April, should be fun, now I just need to get busy and make some goodies.

I love to sit outside and watch the world go by under the frangipani tree.

This is my favourite mug at the moment filled with French Earl Grey.

Adding to collections, I collect lots of things and probably too much but I love Johnson Bros Dream Town.

I only have 3 plates of various sizes so far you don't see it very often.

 I was delighted to find this plate in the oppie the other day for $2.

This weeks Just a Moment meme is all about sewing, the machine and the space.

I have a small space but at least I can leave my machine and treasure set up all the time, I know if I didn't I would never sew.

Last year my singer of 28 years just wore out, I had purchased it new in Darwin and it had travelled far and wide with me. The poor machine had sewed so much the parts were completely worn out and the only way it would live to fight another day would be to find that exact same machine and use the parts, yes there were tears.

I rallied, finally and bought a Janome middle of the range and after a few tense moments we are great pals.

I know my sewing table looks a mess but it is organised sort of, I know exactly where everything is.

The pile of spots and stripes on the table is a stripey longish top, which needs a little help, I'm thinking about adding a pocket and some embellishment.
