Birthdays are fun especially when they are celebrated with family in a beautiful setting.

Nanna Mary had her 80th at the amazing Stanley Gramma School in Watervale.
A lovely day, Thank you.

Stuff

A few flowers make all the difference.

And while they are thinking about it, make more art.

Too pretty to throw away.

JaM

JaM - taking Just a Moment to gather & share the things you have noticed, consumed, created &/or bought during your week....

I fixed it!
I removed the little cap sleeve.

Shortened the dress a bit and added some large colourful fabric circles.

A colourful brooch to finish the dress off.
Looks much better now.

And those felted jumpers have been made into flowers to wear.

Joining Jody and JaM.

JaM ~ How you like your flowers

Joining in with Jody's JaM, I'm just a bit late.
Flowers is this weeks theme, some pretty floral fabric.

One rose found in the garden.

Lantana is a weed in every other state in Australia.
Our soil is poor in this area but the Lantana survives in all the gardens around here.

Our fist iris flower, I planted these 3 years ago.

There are blossoms to make us happy because spring is on it's way.

Blossoms that will make us sneeze, Jasmine,

and pretty blossoms to make us smile.

Gardening

This is our witches paint brush, well that's what we know it as anyway.
It has one flower once a year around this time and only lasts several days.
Then 2 long strap like leaves appear.

I spend yesterday afternoon in the garden enjoying the sunshine before it disappears.

Flea Market Finds

I found this cute little donkey at the oppie recently.

Apparently he would have once held servettes, he looks a bit grumpy but I think he looks happier with flowers.

For more flea market finds pop over to Sophies.
