Happy Australia Day

Seems like only a second ago we were celebrating Christmas and now another celebration,

I'm glad I live in the lucky country.

Fast February wizzed by in the blink of my eye, the sun rose and the sun set.

I know it's a short month but it was really quick this year.

Sunset

Another day closes and Santa is just that little bit closer.

This weeks travels I've noticed sunrise,  

very cold mornings with frosts and fog,

sunsets on the way home.

And while gardening a bit this week I noticed these tiny green flowers.

We 've been to the beach almost every day and the sunsets still amaze me.

I know I should have used something more stable that the top of the car door but the colours were amazing.

This evening

Arriving home this evening the sky was a strange almost dirty colour.

Minutes later it started to turn red,

and redder. 

The strange thing, this is east and the sun was setting quietly in the opposite direction.

Happy New Year

We spent the last evening of 2010 with friends,

together we toasted the last sunset of 2010,

and watched fireworks in 2011.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe evening.

Perfect way to end a busy weekend.

Amazing

While dinning with our friends on Saturday night and nibbling on our eclairs mother nature treated us to a spectacular sunset.

It doesn't matter how often I see the sunset over the ocean it still amazes me.
