Holidays

The break between Christmas and New Year is always an odd time, public holidays, everything seems to slow down and in some places almost grind to a halt.

We took a break in the city for a couple of days, saw this exhibition , at the Urban Cow and drank tea here, too early for gin.

Managed to see the latest James Bond film before it disappeared.
I loved Skyfall but I am a Bond fan and I'm happy to leave my brain at the door.

Multi-Functional

When is a golf course not a golf course, when it's an outdoor cinema!
Must confess I like things to be multi purposed so when there was a chance to see an outdoor film on a golf course who could say no.
Friends gathered, wine drunk and nibbles eaten.
It was a balmy evening to begin with but by the time the film had finished an assortment of quilts, jumpers and towels had been dragged from the car and were bundled around us.
It was my first out door film apart from the drive-ins years ago and it was very similar and great fun.

WOW!

I couldn't wait to see the new Alice film and I wasn't disappointed, it was brilliant.
My mum read Alice in Wonderland to me when I was little but I have never seen any of the films that have been made.
I loved every minute of it and think I should fall down the rabbit hole more often, life would be much more fun if we all had a little more Hatter and Alice in us.
