My Creative Space

This week I am playing along with creative spaces.

  I've made a couple of wrap around skirts but I have used a thrifted black skirt and cut up the side seam and added a colourful flap to wrap over the front.

For the longest tie I have used a mans tie, again thrifted.

The fabric for the flap on this skirt used to be pair of pants.

The red fabric was a printed panel gleaned from somewhere, I've had it so long I can't remember and I used a pillow case for the lining.

Flea Market Finds

How cute is little birdie.

I found him on my travels this week.

He was sitting alone in a corner just waiting for someone to dust him off and give him a good home.

are a strong feature of Mintaro with their pretty gardens.

Long Lunch

Today I had lunch with my besties at The Tea Pot Inn in Mintaro.

The Clare Valley is beautiful this time of year.

This rather large cat joined us for lunch, demanded a tummy rub, then bought us a small gift but refused to pose for the camera.

After lunch a stroll around the historic town.

The old windmill and the rain water tanks.

A turn around the antique shop and then desert.

Can't wait for the next long lunch.
