Happy Australia Day
Throw another chop on the barbie, so they say.
Apparently it's all about the lamb today but as I grew up on a farm I feel like we were fed lamb for breakfast, lunch and dinner so I don't eat it. Of course my mother says this all nonsense. Yes I know spoilt brat.
I chose blue swimmer instead, with a pesky kangaroo.
Lammingtons are always an Aussie favourite.
Hope everyone had a great day.

Long Lunch
Today I had lunch with my besties at The Tea Pot Inn in Mintaro.
The Clare Valley is beautiful this time of year.
This rather large cat joined us for lunch, demanded a tummy rub, then bought us a small gift but refused to pose for the camera.
After lunch a stroll around the historic town.
The old windmill and the rain water tanks.
A turn around the antique shop and then desert.
Can't wait for the next long lunch.

Happy Australia Day
We had a great day having a BBQ with friends.
Lots of food, drinks and laughter.
There was even "flag bunting".

Sunday Lunch
We had a wonderful Christmas Lunch with Sue and Kath Pathwalker in Mintaro yesterday.
After lunch we had a lovely little jaunt around the tiny town and discovered Poohs House.
Of course I was the last to see it and with screams of "STOP", followed by, "She means it!"
we were able to all fall out of the car and visit with Pooh.
Someone has created Poohs House in their front yard and I'm sure it brings smiles and squeals of delight to all those who pass by.

Desert
I love desert and always wish people didn't look at you funny when you asked for 2 deserts instead of main and desert.
This citrius tart was yummy!
Sorry about the upside down photo, weird things happen in cyber space sometimes.

Beach Season

We've just had a lovely couple of days catching up friends and relaxing down the bottom of the Yorke Peninsular.
It's been too long since we've seen each other and there wasn't a quite moment as our words and laughter flowed.
Berry Bay now has a wooden walk way to the beach, we used to lug every thing up and down the hill for a days surfing here.
